Manhattan-New York City

Welcome to NYC!

Welcome to the city that never sleeps! There's something in New York for everyone, from fine arts, live theatre, and beautiful gardens to speakeasy restaurants and bars. See all the sights, have high tea, gaze at painted masterpieces, ride in a yellow cab, sample culinary dishes from all over the world, nearly touch the stars from the historic Empire State Building, visit the Statue of Liberty, and fall in love with all the wonders that are New York City!

Though Hollywood would have you believe differently, Manhattan is actually a fairly clean and safe city. Be smart about where you're going and you'll find one of the greatest cities in the world.

How to get around

There are three major airports in NYC:

John F. Kennedy (JFK)

LaGuardia (LGA)

Newark (EWR)

Here's a handy, useful article from CNN on NYC's top 3 airports!

There are rental car companies at the airports, taxis, shuttles, limos, charters, city buses, and the extensive train systems that run into and around the city.

To access public transport on buses, trains, or ferries, you can use cash or a Metro card. The MTA (Metropolitan Transportation Authority) is the official city transport organization.

Lyft, Uber, and several other rideshare companies operate in and around the city. Here's a useful comparison page for all of them!
