Boston
Welcome to Bean Town!
There are countless things to love about this historic and beautiful city! The accents of the locals, the historic buildings and architecture, the Freedom Trail which leads you through the heart of the city's most significant historical sites, the fine arts community including Boston Symphony, Boston Ballet, Museum of Fine Art, Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Mary Baker Eddy Museum (don't miss the giant stained glass globe), and Boston is renowned for the professional sports teams that have brought the city great acclaim!
One of the biggest draws for foodie travelers, is the cuisine of this region. Clam chowder, authentic Italian in Boston's little Italy neighborhood where one must also stop in at Mike's Pastry Shop for proper Boston Creme Pie packaged in that special little white and blue box, Cheers! (two locations) is one of the best places in the city for a burger and a beer and some old sitcom nostalgia, and of course, the ever famous Boston Baked Beans.
Boston is also called 'The walking town' because most of the favored destinations are within walking distance in the metro area, and for those places that are just a bit further from city center, Boston has an excellent public transportation system. Take layered clothing, an umbrella, an appetite and enjoy this treasure trove of a city! Boston will always be one of Moxie's most favorite cities in the world.
Love, Moxie!
