Pacific Coast Highway 101/1
Vancouver, B.C. south to San Diego

Vancouver is very close to the US border, but it is in Canada, and you will need a passport. American money is accepted, although sometimes there is a slight charge for using it. English is predominantly spoken. Driving and fuel (petrol) rates are very similar to the states. See Got-Moxie's Vancouver page for all the information you'll need to know when you visit this beautiful city!

The majority of the city is on the south end, but North Vancouver can be reached quickly and easily by driving through Stanley Park and crossing Lions Gate Bridge.

To round out your Pacific Coast Highway trip, stop at Torrey State Park to spend the last of your time walking on the sand and washing your feet in the sea. Dramatic coastline, peaceful surroundings and beautiful weather make this a must do.
